Amigos

Sends Students to the Andean villages, to learn and help.

Amigos de las Americas is an international, voluntary, not-for-profit organization that, through service, provides leadership development opportunities for young people, promotes community health for the people of Latin America, and facilitates cross-cultural understanding for the people of the Americas.

For over 30 years, Amigos de las Americas has provided a unique opportunity for high school and college students in the United States to make a difference in the lives of their neighbors in Latin America. Through the unparalleled "AMIGOS experience" over 18,000 young volunteers have completed extensive leadership and language training programs that prepare them to spend a summer as volunteers in ongoing public health projects throughout Latin America



Habitat for Humanity's Global Village

Habitat for Humanity International is dedicated to the ideal that all people deserve a simple, decent place to live on terms they can afford to pay. Working in partnership with volunteers, churches and synagogues, organizations and the new homeowner families, Habitat for Humanity is building houses and building lives around the world.

Short-term mission trips to Boliva and Peru are offered through Habitat's Global Village program. Living and working with one of Habitat's international affiliates, participants have a unique opportunity to become active partners with people of another culture.

Medical Ministry International

The world's largest short-term, volunteer, Christian medical mission with more than 2500 participants annually.

Interdenominational, serving the poor in the name of Jesus. With a 30 year history of providing opportunities for volunteers to work in two-week medical/ dental/ surgical and eye clinics. Helping people who have little or no access to medical care.

Projects in Ecuador, Peru, and elsewhere in South America.



Food for the Hungry

Child Sponsership for Bolivia. "For just $22 a month, you can help lift a child out of poverty by providing the things they need, which include food, medical care, an education, and other life-transforming help".



CARE International

Projects in Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador "to relieve human suffering, to provide economic opportunity, to build sustained capacity for self-help".
