73-75 Abraham ñaupa tatanchejman juraspa, imatachus nerqa qonawanchejta, chayta qowarqanchej enemigosninchejmanta salvasqa kaspa, mana manchachikuspataj, Diospa munayninta ruwananchejpaj, mana juchayoj, cheqan kausaypi paypa ñaupaqempi kausananchejkama.

73-74 He made a solemn promise to our ancestor Abraham, and vowed that he would rescue us from our enemies, and allow us to serve him without fear;
75 to be holy and righteous before him, all the days of our life.
73 Esta fue la promesa que Dios juró a nuestro padre Abraham:
74 que nos iba a librar de nuestros enemigos, para que le sirvamos sin miedo,
75 justos y consagrados a él, todos los días de nuestra vida:

76 Qanrí wawáy, jatun Diospa profetan sutichasqa kanki. Señorpa ñaupaqenta rinki, ñankunanta wakichispa.

76 "You, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High God. You will go ahead of the Lord to prepare his road for him;
76 Y tú, hijito mío, serás llamado profeta del Dios altísimo, porque irás delante del Señor preparando sus caminos,

77 Ayllunmantaj salvacionta rejsichinki, juchasninku pampachasqa kanankupaj.

77 to tell his people that they will be saved, by having their sins forgiven.
77 para hacer saber a su pueblo que sus pecados les serán perdonados, y que así recibirán salvación.

78 Diosninchejqa jatun khuyakuyninrayku, patamantapacha k'anchamuspa watukuwarqanchej.

78 Our God is merciful and tender. He will cause the bright dawn of salvation to rise on us,
78 Pues nuestro Dios, en su amor y misericordia, nos da desde lo alto el sol de un nuevo día,

79 Pay jamun laqhapi tiyakojkunata, wañuy llanthupi kajkunatapis k'anchanampaj, purinasninchejta cheqanchaspa, sonqo tiyaykuyta qonawanchejpaj, nispa nerqa Zacariasqa.

79 and shine from heaven on all those who live in the dark shadow of death, to guide our steps into the path of peace."
79 para traer luz a los que viven en la oscuridad y en sombra de muerte, y para guiar nuestros pasos por el camino de paz.

80 Chay qhepata wawaqa wiñarqa, kallpachakorqataj espiritupi. Jatunyaspa, payqa ch'innejpi tiyakorqa Israel aylluman rikuchikunankama.

80 The child grew and developed in body and spirit. He lived in the desert until the day when he would appear publicly to the people of Israel.
80 Y el niño crecía y se hacía fuerte espiritualmente, y vivió en los desiertos hasta el día en que se dio a conocer a la gente de Israel.
